Purpose — why Gigly exists

Casual and part-time hiring in Australia is inefficient on both sides of the table. Job seekers are stuck choosing between job boards built for full-time careers, not three-hour weekend shifts, or word of mouth that only gets you as far as who you already know. Employers hiring for casual roles get flooded with applicants they can't easily tell apart, with no fast way to confirm someone is who they say they are, and no structure that rewards a genuinely good hire over just a fast one.

The missing piece on both sides is the same: verified trust, established up front instead of taken on faith. Gigly exists to build that — a marketplace built specifically for casual and part-time work, where identity and reliability are checked before they matter, not after something's already gone wrong.
